Lighted, reverse-painted lighted glass exit sign box.
This piece features an ornate cast iron border around the box, boasting a series of small geometric patterns. Within the box is a textured glass pane with a classic white/red "EXIT" sign. The socket is housed beneath this, and the light filters through the paint to illuminate the sign. Tested, works.
Exhibits heavy paint loss on the sign portion, but you can still make out enough to know its an exit sign.
